The Unicorn Singers and the Select Choir from Silver Lake Regional High School are coming together this spring to present an enchanting collection of contemporary choral works. In this concert, As the Poet Said, we explore the profound poetry of renowned writers such as Shakespeare, Tennyson, Dickinson, Donne, Angelou, Hughes, Burns, and more. The program is divided into three themes: HOPE, LOVE, and LIVING, in which beloved poetic imagery of previous generations form the basis for exceptional new choral compositions. Led by Kelley DePasqua, this collaboration between the two choirs serves as a musical bridge, celebrating artistic expression and musical excellence across all ages.
